AVICENNA O’ Level
The Avicenna School has registered with Cambridge International as a Cambridge Associate School in Karachi since 1996. We are committed to providing value-based education at every level starting from Montessori/Playgroup at the Avicenna Aspirations’ to Junior/Senior and O’ Level at the Avicenna School.
We provide a value-based education at all levels with a strong emphasis on academics and develop self-motivation and ability of a young mind to discover his/her own capabilities. We constantly update the curriculum through collaboration with recognized national and international educational institutions. Ordinary Level is one of the formal education options for students who have completed primary and middle school. The three year senior school program commences from grade IX and is completed in grade XI. The senior school follows the prescribed curriculum of the University of Cambridge. We shape the future of our students with help from encouraging and exceptional mentors possessing decades of teaching and counseling experience. They inspire students to have an open and creative mindset, confidence to ask questions, increase their knowledge base, build supportive relationships and inculcate critical thinking.
Effective teaching and learning plays a vital role in a consistent academic progression. It can only happen in a student-centered classroom through hands-on experiences. The challenges of the curriculum are met by the expertise of our faculty in a conducive learning environment. Our students learn by doing and retain concepts through age appropriate pedagogical strategies used in the classroom. Our students regularly have secured highly desirable results on the Cambridge International Assessment Examinations. Most graduating students attend higher studies at universities and colleges in Pakistan and abroad.

- The tuition fee is payable on monthly basis
- Fees are not refundable except security deposit
- The Fee shall be charged for the whole academic year (12 months) irrespective of date of admission
- The due date of paying tuition fees is 10th of every month
- Payments can be made via Bank Pay Order / Crossed Cheque drawn in favor of The Avicenna School Private Limited. CASH payments are accepted at Head Office, Tipu Sultan Campus or at any branch of Bank AL Habib Limited.
- Late payment of Rs. 500 will be charged
- Security deposit is refundable at the time of leaving the school
- Fees can be revised on yearly basis
In Class X, students appear for Pakistan Studies, Urdu and Islamiat papers having studied the courses for two full years. At the end of grade XI, in addition to the six compulsory subjects for O’ Level, students appear for three or more optional subjects at CAIE . We work to create a subject combination for each student that is suited to their individual strengths and career ambitions.

Along with our excellent academic program, we offer an array of co-curricular activities to our students for their mental and physical well-.being. These activities help our students to develop teamwork, discipline, confidence, patience and a sense of responsibility. They celebrate their successes and learn from their failures by participating in all kinds of Inter-School, National and International Competitions.
Our Value Education Program and Core Skills Program help students learn essential values to become independent young adults, realize their full potential and become competent via experiences within and beyond the classroom. In our care, they grow with a mindset of making a difference by contributing towards social change, which should start from within. We also introduce Community Service Programs by providing different platforms for our students where they can serve humanity and develop strong empathy for others.
Admissions are based upon student testing and an interview with both parents and the student. Admissions for each new academic year are open from the month of December. Classes begin in August of the succeeding year.
