O & A’ Levels (Clifton Boys & Girls Campus)

Director’s Message

In today’s fast changing world, If one looks closely at the present — school day curriculum, not only in this country but a round the world that the grades are narrowly defined by just academic achievements. The Avicenna School is introducing interest beyond the classroom and this is best done through the extra curricular activities.

In this Information Age the pool of available knowledge is too vast, and the demands for skills and expertise change too quickly, for any student to learn all they will need to know for their careers in school and college. Therefore, the ability, and the desire to learn, are far more important than anything students may have already learned by the time they finish school.

As a school we foster confidence and self belief by providing our students with “a quality, life enhancing educational experience in a positive learning environment”. At the Avicenna School we are making modest progress in connecting real live experience as a part of the academic coursework as one in the learning process.

Furthermore it is not the ability to follow directions, but initiative and innovative thinking, which are required in today’s work place. Confidence and self belief, which enable both lives long, learning as well as initiative and innovative thinking, are the hallmarks of leaders in all walks of life.
